The first time you open Stratum

On macOS, if you see a note that Stratum is from an unidentified developer, right-click (or Control-click) the app icon and choose Open, then confirm. You only need to do this once.

On Windows, Microsoft SmartScreen may show a blue “Windows protected your PC” box for newly released apps. Click More info, then Run anyway — this is normal for a new app and doesn’t mean anything is wrong.

Before you download

Is Stratum a native app or an Electron/web app?

Native. The Mac version is built in Swift and the Windows version is a native Windows build — not Electron, not a browser wrapper. That's why it starts instantly, scrolls through millions of rows, and works fully offline.

Is my data private?

Yes. Your data stays on your computer — Stratum never uploads your files, datasets, or results to a server or the cloud. The app checks your license periodically and looks for updates; neither request carries any of your data.

What are the system requirements?

macOS 14 (Sonoma) or later, or Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit). There are no other dependencies to install.
