Installing on Windows? Here’s what to expect

Windows will likely show a security warning — that’s normal, and Stratum is safe. It’s code-signed; Windows just hasn’t built up download “reputation” for a newer app yet. Here’s exactly what you’ll see and what to click:

Downloading: your browser may flag it as “not commonly downloaded” — choose Keep (in Edge: Keep → Keep anyway).
First launch: if you see a blue “Windows protected your PC” box, click More info → Run anyway.

Before you download

Is Stratum a native app or an Electron/web app?

Native. The Mac version is built in Swift and the Windows version is a native Windows build — not Electron, not a browser wrapper. That's why it starts instantly, scrolls through millions of rows, and works fully offline.

Is my data private?

Yes. Your data stays on your computer — Stratum never uploads your files, datasets, or results to a server or the cloud. The app checks your license, looks for updates, and sends anonymous usage data (which features you open, never your data) to help us improve it — none of these carry your files, datasets, or results. What are the system requirements?
